అచ్చంపేట: నాగర్ కర్నూల్ జిల్లా నల్లమల అటవీ ప్రాంతంలో భారీ అగ్నిప్రమాదం సంభవించింది. బ్రహ్మగిరి అటవీ రేంజ్ పరిధిలోని తాటి గుండాల సెక్షన్ సమీపంలో ఒక్కసారిగా నిప్పు రాజుకుంది. ప్రస్తుతం ఎండల తీవ్రత ఎక్కువగా ఉండటం, అటవీ ప్రాంతంలో పొడి గడ్డి భారీగా పేరుకుపోవడంతో మంటలు వేగంగా అడవి అంతటా వ్యాపిస్తున్నాయి.
అప్రమత్తమైన అటవీశాఖ: మంటల సమాచారం అందిన వెంటనే అటవీశాఖ సిబ్బంది అప్రమత్తమై సంఘటనా స్థలానికి చేరుకున్నారు. మంటలను అదుపు చేసేందుకు ఫైర్ బ్లోయర్లు, ఇతర పరికరాలతో శ్రమిస్తున్నారు. అడవి సంపదతో పాటు వన్యప్రాణులకు ఎటువంటి నష్టం కలగకుండా అధికారులు అన్ని జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకుంటున్నారు. అగ్నిప్రమాదానికి గల కారణాలు ఇంకా తెలియాల్సి ఉంది. అటవీ సరిహద్దు ప్రాంతాల్లోని ప్రజలు, పశువుల కాపరులు అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని అధికారులు సూచించారు.
